Paranormal

The greatest of all things most refer to as Paranormal.

Here is another one that demands definition. Paranormal, Beyond the normal experience or scientific explanation. Coincidentally it is listed in the dictionary next to paranoid.

Most equate the paranormal to the world of ufos, little green men, ghosts, goblins, slimy blobs oozing from the ceiling and other weird things. Based on experience it is utilizing our perfectly normal senses and abilities to see, hear, feel and experience that go far beyond what we assume or have been told we can do. Also based on experience almost without exception everyone I have ever met has paranormal abilities and experiences, some far greater than others.

I'll give you a seemingly normal paranormal experience and you be the judge.

In 1969 my wife and I bought a small farm, up until this time I had only had studied psychology and some of the minds uncanny abilities to accomplish many so-called extraordinary tasks. One day while plowing about ten acres of black bottom land. As it started getting dark I pulled the tractor up to my usual parking spot at one end of the field, my wife approached as I got off the tractor. She asked what was wrong as I started cussing and ranting, "I lost my damn billfold". "Where did you lose it", she asked in her sweet naive way. I pointed to an area about the size of six football fields and said, "Out There #!!**$%#@**!!***!!! Somewhere".
It's not like there was that much in it but the hassle of having to get another drivers licence and next weeks grocery money gone was an incentive however futile. The absurdity of finding a small billfold the same color as the dirt among thousands of clods with the sun setting can only be appreciated by another farmer. My sweet wife began methodically turning over clods the size of washtubs, this technique would have taken about twenty years and probably failed. I told her to stop immediately and asked her to just be quiet a minute that I was going to try something. I tried to go silent as possible and see what happens, after about a minute I looked to the far side of the field and started walking across this jumbled field of huge clods. After struggling about three city blocks in a straight line across this no-mans land i abruptly stopped. In one motion I reached with one hand lifting a two by three foot clod and noticed my other hand simultaneously reach for The Billfold. As I approached my wife she asked, "How did you do that?".

What is normal for you may not be for others.
